An 11-year-old boy sustained serious multiple injuries on Wednesday after being struck in Icod de los Vinos, situated in northern Tenerife.
The incident occurred at 4:00 p.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 112 of the Canary Islands government received a call reporting an accident involving a minor on the Canarina Paseo, necessitating medical assistance.
The child was attended to by personnel from a medicalised ambulance along with another team member from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC). After stabilising him, they transported him to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands (HUC), while the Local Police initiated the necessary proceedings.
