Those detained for their suspected involvement in the death of a man during the early hours of last Monday at the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife are set to appear in court on Thursday, according to sources from the national police speaking to Europa Press.
The incident occurred at approximately 05:00 when a fight broke out near the capital’s maritime avenue. The victim, a 30-year-old male residing in Gran Canaria, sustained severe cranial trauma and tragically passed away in an ambulance while en route to Candelaria hospital due to cardiac arrest.
