Santa Cruz de Tenerife 28 Feb. (Europa Press) –
Emergency responders have retrieved the lifeless remains of a 42-year-old man of Polish nationality from the Charco del Tancón in Santiago del Teide (Tenerife), as stated by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre of the 112 in the Canary Islands.
The body was recovered on Thursday afternoon after the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 112 for the Canary Islands government received a report from the Local Police about a person seen floating in the sea in the aforementioned location.
Subsequently, firefighters from Tenerife and local officers managed to recover the body and bring it to land while awaiting the arrival of judicial authorities. Agents from the Civil Guard also arrived at the scene.
