The sustainable city department of the Puerto de la Cruz Council is set to enhance the renaturalisation of educational institutions through an initiative aimed at transforming these school environments into more natural, inclusive, and healthier spaces. As stated by Councillor David Hernández, the plan involves replacing asphalt with green areas, shaded zones, and environments that encourage both learning and play. With a budget of 350,000 euros and an execution timeline of five months, the local authority has entrusted the project drafting to the architects who specialise in rubber implementation.
