Ground and aerial resources resumed this Sunday at 9 am for the second day of searching for the minor who went missing yesterday in the Charco del Viento, a natural pool situated in the municipality of La Guancha in northern Tenerife, as reported by La Guardia Civil to Efe.
The same sources have indicated that, initially, they will be deployed in the same area as on Saturday.
In the search operation for the minor, who is of foreign nationality, a Civil Guard helicopter is involved, along with ground forces, and a maritime rescue helicopter.
No maritime resources will be utilised due to adverse sea conditions, as a pre-alert situation for coastal phenomena has been declared in the area.
Around 11 am on Saturday, the Local Police alerted 112 that two minors were in distress at sea. One of them managed to get ashore with assistance from a relative and did not require medical attention.
