Santa Cruz de Tenerife 22 Feb. (Europa Press) –
A 72-year-old woman sustained injuries on Friday after being struck by a scooter.
The incident took place around 10:00 p.m., when the 1-1-2 control centre received a call notifying that a woman required medical assistance following the collision with a scooter as she alighted from the tram. Consequently, CECOES promptly deployed the necessary emergency resources to the scene.
Upon arrival, the Canarian Emergency Department’s Medical Service attended to the injuries, which included moderate trauma to an upper limb, and subsequently transported her to the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria.
Later, the Local Police commenced the appropriate investigative procedures.
