A 34-year-old cyclist has suffered severe injuries following a collision with a car in Granadilla, located in the southern part of Tenerife, as stated by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands Government.
At approximately 23:00 on Thursday, a notification was received by 1-1-2 regarding the incident involving a cyclist and a tourist vehicle on the TF-643 road, between Médano and the coast.
The 1-1-2 service deployed emergency resources, whilst the medical team assessed and provided initial aid to the injured individual prior to their transfer to Hospiten Sur University Hospital. Upon arrival, the patient was in critical condition and, after stabilisation, was moved to the University Hospital Our Lady of Candelaria.
