Santa Cruz de Tenerife 21 Feb. (Europa Press) –
A total of 16 migrants were discovered on Friday afternoon aboard a Cayuco near Tenerife, as reported by 112 Canary Islands.
The team from primary healthcare and the Red Cross have attended to all individuals at the port of Los Cristianos who were rescued by maritime services. No transfers to healthcare facilities have occurred.
Additionally, on the same day, Maritime Rescue escorted a Cayuco with 62 migrants, including seven women and a minor, to the port of La Restinga (El Hierro) after being located 5 miles south of the island.
