A series of collisions on the TF-5 heading towards Laguna at the Miramar neighbourhood in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has resulted in significant traffic congestion, as reported by the 1-1-2 Canary Islands.
Two ambulances from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC), Tenerife firefighters, local police from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and the Civil Guard have been dispatched to the scene.
The 1-1-2 Canary Islands urges drivers using that route to proceed with caution.
According to the local police, one lane has been opened for traffic, which has helped reduce congestion.
