Campers Given the Boot After Setting Up Shop on Yellow Mountain

On Tuesday, the Canary Police announced via their social media channels that they had carried out the eviction of several campers who had set up their tent and spent the night within the natural area of Mountain Amarilla, located in the municipality of Arona in southern Tenerife.

In conjunction with the Local Police, the officers identified the individuals involved and instructed the “immediate” removal of the tent, adhering to Law 4/2017, which safeguards the natural areas of the Canary Islands.

This action, as noted by the Canary Police, “strengthens the dedication to preserving the natural heritage of the Canaries.”
