Paragliding Mishap in Tenerife Leaves Pilot Seriously Injured

A man sustained serious injuries on Saturday after falling on a road in Fasnia (Tenerife) while engaging in paragliding, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre 1-1-2.

At the scene of the accident, which occurred on the TF-620 road, a physician in the vicinity attended to the injured individual, providing an initial assessment.

Subsequently, personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) arrived to assist the casualty before transporting him by ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital, where he was admitted with a serious fracture.

The Local Police also collaborated with the medical services, while the Civil Guard managed traffic and took the necessary documentation for the incident.
