Residents of Santa Cruz de Tenerife acknowledge their inability to see improvements in recent years. In La Vica street, a location in close proximity to an educational institution, dirt has accumulated, and the presence of an abandoned vehicle has exacerbated issues with drug dependence in the area.
“We take our dogs for walks there, but it is an extremely busy spot,” a resident remarked regarding the stretch between Finca La Fine and La Candelaria. “Inside the abandoned car, syringes have been found, which poses a danger, particularly for children who may pass by.”
They also emphasise that the situation is not a new occurrence, but rather a dangerous trend that has intensified in recent months, as illustrated by the accompanying photographs.
