Tenerife boasts a road infrastructure spanning roughly 1,500 kilometres, with 826 kilometres overseen by the Cabildo de Tenerife. This entity is implementing a significant initiative aimed at modernising and enhancing the island’s road network, with a budget of over 300 million euros allocated for 2024. This unprecedented investment has facilitated the refurbishment of 400 kilometres of roads, which accounts for nearly 50% of the road network managed by the department led by the councillor, Dámaso Arteaga.
