A paraglider has sustained moderate injuries following a fall in Tamaimo, located in the municipality of Santiago del Teide (Tenerife), according to reports from the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre of the 112 service in the Canary Islands.
The incident took place on Thursday afternoon, prompting the deployment of firefighters from Tenerife, who rescued the individual at the site of the accident and transported him to the activated medical resources.
Subsequently, personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) attended to the man, who displayed moderate trauma at the time of initial treatment, leading to his transfer by ambulance to the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de Candelaria.
Local Police and Civil Guard officers also arrived at the location of the incident, overseeing the necessary documentation.
