The President of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, expressed gratitude to the President of Aena, Maurici Lucena, noting that the collaboration with the Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Mobility “is beginning to yield results: the drafting competitions for the expansion projects of the airports in Tenerife South, Tenerife North and Lanzarote have already been awarded; Additionally, it is feasible to allocate an investment of 1,000 million euros for the airports of Tenerife North, Tenerife South, and Lanzarote in the upcoming 2027-2031 period.”
