The overcast skies and light sporadic rains will prevail this Sunday in the Canary Islands, as indicated by Aemet. In the ocean, winds will be from the northeast at force 4 or 5, locally reaching 6 in the northwest and southeast. Expect swell or rough seas. In the west, winds will be variable at forces 1 to 3, with choppy conditions and breezes. The forecast for this Sunday is as follows:

Lanzarote

Intermittent cloud cover with a predominance of overcast skies during the middle of the day, when there is a chance of light and sporadic rainfall. Temperatures will remain stable. Moderate Alisio winds will be strong during the latter part of the day. In Reef, the expected minimum and maximum temperatures will range from 16 °C to 21 °C.

Fuerteventura

Intermittent cloud cover with a predominance of overcast skies during the central hours, when there is a probability of light, occasional, and scattered rain. Temperatures will show little variation. Moderate Alisio winds will be strong during the latter half of the day, particularly in the southern region of Jandía. In Puerto del Rosario, the anticipated minimum and maximum temperatures will be between 17 °C and 21 °C.

Gran Canaria

In the northern region, expect cloudy conditions with light to moderate rainfall, which may be persistent in Medianías. Other areas will have intermittent clouds with a predominance of overcast skies in the afternoon, when light and sporadic rainfall may occur, especially in inland regions.

Temperatures will change little. Moderate Alisio winds will be strong on the southeast and northwest slopes, as well as exposed peaks, where very high gusts may be recorded. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the forecasted minimum and maximum temperatures will be between 16 °C and 20 °C.

Tenerife
