A 50-year-old individual sustained injuries on Saturday following a collision involving a car on the General Highway of the South, in the Taco area of the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (Cecoe) 1-1-2.
The incident took place at 11:38 hours, when the 1-1-2 control room received a call indicating that a car and motorcycle had collided, and that the rider of the latter required medical assistance. Consequently, the CECOES promptly deployed the necessary emergency resources to the scene.
Upon arrival, personnel from the Canarian Emergency Department assessed and treated the injured party, who exhibited moderate injuries at the initial stage of care and was subsequently transported by ambulance to the San Juan de Dios Hospital.
Afterwards, the Local Police managed traffic on the road and conducted the appropriate investigation.
