The National Police have conducted an anti-drug operation in the Los Gladiolos neighbourhood of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, resulting in the dismantling of a narcotics sales point and the arrest of an individual for suspected drug trafficking.
The officers had reason to believe that the individual who was arrested was involved in the production and distribution of synthetic narcotics from his residence.
A search of the property led to the seizure of 36 grams of Tusi, seven grams of ecstasy, 103 grams of mephedrone, two grams of ketamine, 44 grams of cocaine, 30 grams of methamphetamine, 18 popper tubes, a container of GHB, 1,090 euros in cash, and various items intended to conceal narcotic substances.
The arrested individual has been presented in court and has been remanded in custody pending further investigation.
