On Saturday at 9:00 p.m., the Leal Theatre will also feature the performance Tremendous by Petite Lorraine. The actress and comedian from La Palma has already sold out all tickets for her innovative show, which delves into the boundaries of what is considered politically correct and what is not.
With ‘Tremendous’, the artist embraces oral tradition while moving away from postmodernism to share her unique perspective on the world with the audience.
Opera
Tenerife Auditorium will present chamber opera this weekend, Trouble in Tahiti, composed by Leonard Bernstein (West Side Story). This one-act opera, featuring seven scenes, premiered in Massachusetts in 1952 and takes place in an American housing project, depicting Dinah’s growing disillusionment with her husband Sam, who is more focused on his career and leisure than his family. The performance is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m., and tickets can be purchased through the Auditorium’s website.

The weekend’s sporting events kick off with CD Tenerife going head to head against CD Eldense this Saturday at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium. The match is set to commence at 8:00 p.m.
