SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE Jan. 24 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, via the Autonomous Festival Organisation, will commence online ticket sales on January 29 for the 2025 Carnival contests slated to take place at the Fairgrounds, commencing on February 7, with the exception of tickets for the adult and children’s galas, which will go on sale on Friday, January 30.
Interested individuals can purchase tickets for all phases of the children’s and adult murgas competitions, troupes, musical ensembles, choreographic group competitions, and galas for the children’s and adult queens through the ticketscarnavaltenerife.com website, as stated by the local council in a press release.
The City Council reminds everyone that, as in prior editions, tickets for the final of the Adult Murgas competition will be exclusively available for purchase via ventascarnavaltenerife.com, both as a voucher and as a single ticket. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the Fairgrounds ticket offices under any circumstances.
Furthermore, for both the adult queen galas, the troupe competition, and the adult murgas final, all seats in the bleachers and chairs area will be numbered, and their purchase can only be made through the digital sales platform. The pricing for these numbered seats will remain consistent with previous editions. Should these numbered stands not sell out, any remaining seats will be available for purchase at the Fairgrounds ticket offices on the day of the event.
The ticket issuance system will be activated from 9:00 a.m., allowing the acquisition of a maximum of four seats per bank card per event while providing the option to print tickets during the purchase process.
Additionally, each ticket will contain a unique QR code to verify its authenticity and help prevent duplication or forgery.
The free shows will include the Children’s Murgas Contest, Musical Groups Contest, Election Gala for the Queen of the Elders, and the Costume Contest.
BOX OFFICE SALE
Ticket sales at the Fairgrounds ticket offices will commence several days prior to the competitions starting on February 7, operating from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On days when the competitions and galas are held, these hours will approximately extend until the conclusion of the event.
For the Seniors’ Gala, access will be via invitations due to its free nature, which will be distributed on the celebration date, February 19, in a specially designated and clearly signposted area outside the Fairgrounds.
Regarding the rondallas competition, scheduled for February 23 in the Auditorium, tickets will be available for online purchase as well as at the Fairgrounds box office at a flat price of 8 euros, with the Auditorium box office also open on the day of the competition.
