Chaladas Kicks Off Northern Murgas Competition with Eight Dynamic Groups

Chaladas, host of the murga alongside Tiralenguas and victor of the 2024 Northern murga competition, will inaugurate the regional contest that will gather eight groups – with two places still available despite being open to the entirety of the Canary Islands. This edition is set to take place in Icod de los Vinos over two phases, on Tuesday, February 17 and Wednesday, February 18, from which the five highest-scoring groups will progress to the final on Saturday, February 22.
