The magazine Trips from National Geographic is hosting the third edition of the ‘Readers’ Awards 2025′, inviting an open vote to determine the finest destinations, hotels, projects, and airlines globally.
Following a preliminary selection of 80 finalists across 16 categories, readers will have the chance to cast their votes from January 21 until February 21 at 11:59 p.m.
Among the nominees for the award of ‘Best Natural Destination in Spain’ are five finalists on a national level, including Teide National Park in Tenerife. It is competing against Val d’Aran in the Catalan Pyrenees, Alto Tajo National Park in Castilla-La Mancha, Gorbeia National Park in the Basque Country, and Sierra de Guadarrama National Park in Madrid.
Teide National Park, featuring its breathtaking volcanic terrain, boasts Spain’s highest peak, Teide, standing at an impressive 3,715 metres. An iconic symbol of the island, it serves as the main attraction, having become the most visited national park in Europe and among the top ten most visited in the entire world.
The final voting results will be revealed on April 22 in the magazine’s May edition, and will also be published on the website on the same day. To participate, simply complete the form here.
As stated on the website, the order of categories is random. To vote for your preferred entry, just click on the image. For your vote to count towards Teide National Park, you will need to cast a vote in all categories.
