Rosa Dávila, the president of the Tenerife Cabildo, revealed on Monday the acquisition of 70 double-decker buses in 2025 at a cost of 25 million euros. These hybrid vehicles, measuring 15 metres in length, will enhance long-distance travel, particularly in the southern region of the island. Specifically, they will service lines 110, 111, and 122, which connect to Los Cristianos, Costa Adeje, and Candelaria, as well as line 108 to Los Realejos. The new buses will nearly double their seating capacity, expanding from the current 65 to a total of 110 seats.
