By the end of November, Tenerife will take centre stage as the hub for small and medium-sized enterprises across Spain, Portugal, and Spanish or Portuguese-speaking countries in America. This announcement was made by Lope Afonso (PP), the vice president of the Cabildo of Tenerife and Minister of Tourism. The VII Ibero-American MSME Forum is set to convene policymakers, industry experts, and business leaders from throughout Ibero-America in Tenerife, organised collaboratively by the Ibero-American General Secretariat and the Ibero-American Business Council (CEIB). The initiative also includes participation from public and private institutions in the Canary Islands, alongside business organisations constituting the Confederation of Businessmen of Tenerife as part of the broader business association (CEOE).
