Storm Garoé Brings Much-Needed Rain to the Canary Islands

Following several days of clear weather and overnight frosts across much of the Peninsula, the weekend of January 18 and 19 is expected to remain predominantly stable. Nevertheless, the Canary Islands are gearing up for a considerable shift: the impending arrival of an Atlantic storm, which is set to impact the archipelago from Tuesday the 21st, bringing widespread rainfall and potentially rough sea conditions, as stated by the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
