Princess Leonor, the successor to the Spanish throne, has already experienced the flavours of wrinkled potatoes and grilled cheese, two quintessential dishes of Canarian cuisine. This Friday, following her arrival in Tenerife on the Spanish Navy training vessel Juan Sebastián de Elcano, she took a stroll through the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and paused for a snack at a cosy bar located on Callejón del Combate.
