SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE Jan. 17 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A total of three individuals sustained varying degrees of injuries in a collision involving two passenger vehicles in the Las Chafiras locality, within San Miguel de Abona (Tenerife), as stated by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre of 112 in the Canary Islands.
The incident transpired at 11:11 p.m. on the TF-1 roadway, in the Las Chafiras area of the aforementioned municipality. Emergency personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) arrived on the scene and discovered a 73-year-old man who sustained moderate multiple bruises at the initial point of care. He was subsequently transported by ambulance to Hospital del Sur.
Two additional men, aged 58 and 21, were also attended to, both of whom presented with mild multiple contusions at the outset of treatment, leading to their transfer by ambulance to Quirón Costa Adeje Hospital. A fourth individual was treated at the site but declined to be evacuated.
The Tenerife Firefighters Consortium also responded to the scene, assisting the deployed resources, alongside personnel from the Road Maintenance Service of the Tenerife Cabildo, who cleared the roadway.
Furthermore, agents from the Civil Guard managed traffic in the vicinity and prepared the necessary report.
