Arafo is making strides in addressing the issue of insecurity that arises in the vicinity of the public school situated within the urban area of the municipality. To achieve this, it relies on the support from the Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Mobility of the Government of the Canary Islands, which, through the Vice-Ministry of Infrastructure, has sanctioned a grant of one million euros to the local council to fund the execution of the Perimeter Street project.
