The Cabildo of Tenerife Reopens the Telesforo Bravo del Teide Trail
The paths from Montaña Blanca to Pico and Mirador de la Fortaleza remain shut for safety reasons

The Tenerife Council has reopened trail nº 10 Telesforo Bravo, which provides access to the summit of the Teide.
This restriction does not affect mountain federations that possess the essential winter gear (technical attire, crampons, and ice axes) and who present a capacity certificate issued by the appropriate federations, which they must show to the control personnel. Additionally, they must register on the Tenerife ON application or website.
Furthermore, it will not impact active tourism companies legally entitled to operate within the Teide National Park that employ guides with the necessary qualifications (medium mountain sports technician or higher, and/or similar professional credentials) for navigating snowy terrains, equipped with the required winter essentials (technical clothing, crampons, and ice axe). Likewise, they must also be enlisted on the Tenerife ON application or website.
