SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE Jan. 15 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 76-year-old gentleman has sustained moderate injuries following a fall at the Los Poleos viewpoint in Guía de Isora (Tenerife), according to reports from the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre of 112 in the Canary Islands.
The incident took place on Tuesday along the TF-38 route, just before reaching the Los Poleos viewpoint in the aforementioned locality, to which members of the Immediate Response Team (ERIE) from the Red Cross and the Tenerife Fire Consortium were dispatched to assist the injured party.
Subsequently, personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) provided care to the gentleman, who, at the outset of assistance, was found to have a moderate head injury, necessitating his transfer by ambulance from the SUC to the Hospiten Sur University Hospital.
