Investing 825,000 Euros in Sustainable Forage Plant Initiatives

In 2025, Tenerife will allocate 825,000 euros to the advancement of the Island’s Forage Plan. The aim is to complete the cycle from agricultural refuse to expanding the land area cultivated for livestock feed. The Primary Sector division intends to promote eleven initiatives during this timeframe to solidify the plan with four main goals: enhance the availability of natural resources; make use of agricultural and livestock waste and by-products; enlarge the forage area; and provide support to Tenerife’s cereal associations.
