Tenerife’s Tourism Sector Boosts Employment by 5.4% in 2023

At the close of December, the hospitality sector in Tenerife had a workforce of 31,645 individuals, reflecting a rise of 5.4% compared to the same month the previous year, as reported by Ashotel using Social Security registration figures. Following closely, La Gomera had 975 professionals employed (an increase of 19.6%); La Palma maintained 905 positions (the same as in 2023), and El Hierro employed 105 individuals (a 5% increase).
