Tenerife Sees 5.4% Surge in Tourism-Driven Jobs for 2023

At the close of December, the hospitality sector in Tenerife provided employment for 31,645 individuals, marking a year-on-year increase of 5.4%, as reported by Ashotel using Social Security registration figures. Following Tenerife, La Gomera recorded 975 workers (an increase of 19.6%); La Palma maintained 905 (identical to figures from 2023), and El Hierro employed 105 individuals (a rise of 5%).
