The Cabildo of Tenerife, via its Employment department, is providing a direct grant exceeding 254 thousand euros to the municipality of Fasnia, enabling 26 individuals to benefit over a span of twelve months. This funding is designed for the advancement and encouragement of local employment across various municipalities. In this regard, the Minister for Employment, Education, and Youth, Efraín Medina, emphasises that this initiative goes beyond a mere employment scheme; it signifies “a thorough commitment to the future for those unemployed who will engage in projects related to local sustainable development,” in which they will receive training and gain work experience to enhance their future job prospects. Furthermore, participants will benefit from tailored employment guidance, and efforts will be made to facilitate their integration into the island’s job market once these initiatives conclude.
