On Thursday, the president of the Cabildo of Tenerife, Rosa Dávila, secured the commitment from Hugo Morán, the Secretary of State for the Ministry of Ecological Transition, to extend the collaboration agreement. This will lead to a total investment of 400 million euros aimed at enhancing sanitation systems and wastewater treatment on the Island, ultimately ceasing the discharge of untreated water into the ocean.
