Even extending the murgas del Norte competition to the entire Canary Islands does not suffice to fill the ten slots for the event scheduled for Monday, 17 February and Tuesday, 18 February, with the final taking place on Saturday, 22 February, one week following the festivities in the capital of Tenerife.
