A recent judgement, to which El Día has gained access, ratifies the legitimacy of the environmental declaration for the Atogo Motor Circuit, located in Granadilla de Abona, issued back in 2011. The Contentious-Administrative Court number 2 of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in a decision made on December 17, rejected the appeal by the Tenerife Association of Friends of Nature (ATAN) concerning the northern access to the facility. Merely three days later, although it was already known publicly beforehand, Court Number 1 did grant support to another claim from the environmental organisation, specifically regarding the bleachers project, one of the four components of this venture, for which the Cabildo de Tenerife has allocated 13,330,000 euros for 2025 towards a total expenditure of 44 euros.
