The arrival of the Three Wise Men packed the streets of all Canary Islands like never before. In Tenerife, the turnout for the parades reached unprecedented levels, largely due to the successful revitalisation initiatives and favourable weather conditions. Beyond the two principal cities in the Tenerife province – Santa Cruz and La Laguna – local authorities anticipated record numbers: over 30,000 attendees in La Orotava and Los Cristianos (Arona), more than 20,000 in Candelaria, and upwards of 5,000 in El Rosario…
The arrival by land, sea, and air surpassed all expectations on this enchanting day, particularly for the children, many of whom had the chance to meet Melchior, Gaspar, and Baltasar. Their Majesties from the East not only arrived in Santa Cruz via helicopter but also made their entrance in Adeje, located in the southern part of the Island.

More people than ever to witness Melchor, Gaspar, and Baltasar
They landed yesterday afternoon at the Adeje football pitch, where they were welcomed by the mayor, José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga, along with a group of children. Following the official welcome, festivities proceeded with the parade along Calle Grande in Adeje. Notable participants in the royal entourage included the Nuestra Señora de Las Nieves Musical Group, the Band of the Adeje Musical Board, and the Folklore School Group.
The grand parade in Arona meandered through the streets of the Los Cristianos tourist centre, while in Candelaria it traversed the town centre, where the characters from the dinosaur entourage were particularly memorable. The Villa Mariana provided a plethora of activities for children, with the Plaza de la Patrona serving as the focal point of the festivities.

Such high attendance was mirrored in the northern municipalities. Over 500 individuals took part in organising the parade in Orotava, which was streamed live on the Prensa Ayuntamiento Facebook channel. Streets were bustling with people in Puerto de la Cruz, Los Realejos, and Tacoronte…
The El Rosario parade met all expectations. The pleasant weather, the reputation built over the years, and the fact that the eve of Twelfth Night fell on a Sunday attracted over 5,000 people to the heart of the Villa de La Esperanza.
