Third Prize of Lotería del Niño Goes to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and Lanzarote

The number 66777, honoured with the third Children’s Lottery prize 2025, has emerged in the Canary Islands. This number boasts a value of 250,000 euros per series and 25,000 euros for each tenth. At 11:14 Canary time, in the State Lottery and Betting Drawing Room, where the Christmas Giveaway is broadcast live by THE PROVINCE, the children from San Ildefonso school announced this prize. Check here to see if you have a winning tenth.

In the Canary Islands, numerous awards of this number were distributed. It was sold in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Los Alisios Shopping Centre, La Ballena Shopping Centre, 7 Palmas Shopping Centre, Triana Street and Rafael Cabrera), as well as in Arucas, Vecindario, San Isidro in Gáldar, and also in Lanzarote in Yaiza and Reef. In Tenerife, it was available at Meridiano Shopping Centre in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, The Chasnera, Santiago del Teide, Los Realejos, Arico, The Lagoon, Guimar, Saint Ursula, The Orotava, Arona, Passion fruit, Icode, and through the administration at Los Rodeos Airport. In La Gomera, the number was sold in Alajero, while in La Palma it was sold in Breña Alta.

On average, citizens in the Canary Islands spent 13.38 euros on tickets for this draw. According to the State Lottery and Betting Society (SELAE), the anticipated sales in the community are expected to reach 29.4 million euros, reinforcing the islanders’ participation in this annual tradition.

Children’s Lottery

The extraordinary draw of ‘The Child’ is taking place this Monday, on Three Kings’ Day, and it is the second most significant of the National Lottery. This year, it distributes 770 million euros, featuring a grand prize of two million euros per series (200,000 euros per tenth).

The second prize in this draw is awarded 750,000 euros per series (75,000 euros per tenth), and the third prize amounts to 250,000 euros per series (25,000 euros per tenth).

The overall total for this event is 1.1 billion euros, with 70% being allocated for prizes.

‘The Child’ will be conducted at 12 noon in the State Lottery and Betting drawing room, employing the traditional multiple drum system.

Unlike the Christmas raffle, it does not generate as much anticipation as it follows a pre-determined script that lasts around half an hour.

This year, recorded sales reached 874,231,600 euros, indicating an average of 18.20 euros per person. This figure is significantly higher compared to Asturias (30.20 euros), Castilla y León (28.89 euros), La Rioja (26.01 euros), Valencian Community (25.17 euros), and Basque Country (23.22 euros).

This year’s average of 18.20 euros shows a slight increase from last year’s 17.97 euros.

Conversely, the autonomous cities where lottery purchases are lowest include Ceuta (3.53 euros) and Melilla (5.32 euros), followed by Balearic Islands (9.59 euros), Catalonia (13.02 euros), Navarre (13.23 euros), and Canary Islands (13.38 euros).

However, the final sales statistics will only be confirmed shortly before the commencement of the draw, as the administrations will report on the tenths they have sold and those returned to the state company.

The zero has been the most frequently occurring ending digit for the first prize (22 instances), followed by 7 (14 times), 4 (13 times), 9 (13 times), 5 (12 times), 2 (11 times), and 6 (10 times).

This draw was established in 1941 and, due to the success it achieved, it was converted into an extraordinary raffle the following year.
