Their Majesties the Three Wise Men from the East are set to arrive in La Orotava at approximately 3:00 p.m., proceeding through the principal streets of the municipality in vehicles. They will begin their journey at the Doña Chana Cultural Park, making their way along Calvario, Obispo Benítez de Lugo Avenue; Canary Avenue; Puente y Carrera Sculptor Estévez; San Francisco; Salazar Doctor González García; La Candelaria; Domingo Hernandez; Goya Zurbarán; The Cancella; Pescote; Doctor González García; Plaza la Piedad; Rómulo Bethencourt, concluding at the Plaza de San Juan. Here, around 4:00 p.m., Mayor Francisco Linares will present the magic key, which unlocks all homes in the municipality, to Their Majesties. Prior to this ceremony, there will be entertainment for the children eagerly anticipating the arrival of the ambassadors from the East, and following the key handover, the Kings will enter the temple to receive letters brimming with hopes.

Once they depart from the church of San Juan, they will make their way towards Mercedes Pinto Avenue, from which the grand parade will commence at 8:00 p.m. The initial segment along this avenue will maintain a noise-free environment to accommodate children with autism and individuals with functional diversity, while an area accessible to those with reduced mobility will be set up outside the La Milagrosa school.

The Kings of the East, alongside an entourage exceeding 500 people, will lead a spectacular procession, replete with surprises. After leaving Mercedes Pinto, the parade will proceed along Emilio Luque Moreno and Canarias avenues, Calvario street, and Carrera Escultor Estévez, ultimately arriving at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, where a Living Nativity Scene will depict the Birth and Adoration of the Child God. Throughout the journey and at the conclusion of the parade, Their Majesties and their pages will collect letters from children who set them aside for this special occasion.

The Kings will travel with their respective entourages from India, Greece, and Egypt, participating in this enchanting night anticipated to attract over twenty thousand spectators from various locations in the northern region, as well as tourists. The Parade in La Orotava is a prominent event in North Tenerife. The procession will commence with the bugle and drum band of San Juan Bautista, followed by awe-inspiring themed floats and those inspired by the native lands of the Kings.

As they navigate the route, over 1,500 kilos of gluten-free sweets will be distributed, ensuring all children can partake, along with approximately 3,000 whistles, 5,000 three king flags, and 1,000 sparklers. The audience can look forward to an array of characters from the Disney realm and the circus, accompanied by avatars, Romans, centurions, Hebrew shepherds, dancers from various cultures, tumblers, acrobats, jugglers, oversized heads, unicorns, astronauts, other beloved children’s characters, and magnificent seabed creatures, including sharks, whales, rays, seahorses, jellyfish, and various fish. The participation of the Peña El Casco fanfare will also feature prominently.

The local authority values the participation of everyone involved and encourages public cooperation, particularly from parents, to adhere to the guidance provided by organisers and to keep a watchful eye on their children.

The grand parade will be streamed live on Facebook by Prensa Ayuntamiento La Orotava for those unable to witness it in person, as well as on Channel 4 TV.

From the afternoon onwards, the coordination centre (CECOPAL) will be operational, receiving reports of incidents and mobilising necessary resources.

Arriving well in advance is crucial to enjoying the Parade. Besides the parking facilities available in the central area and the terraces above the Quinto Centenario, there are parking options in the urbanisations of Lercaro, Mayorazgo, and Carmenaty.

To ensure the safety of the Parade, traffic will begin to be restricted on the streets along the procession route from 7:00 p.m. Should any incidents arise, it is advisable to approach the nearest local police or civil protection officer, or to call 112 directly.
