From North to South and from East to West. The Three Wise Men’s processions will meander through the streets of nearly all 31 municipalities of Tenerife to share the excitement of gifts with thousands of children on this most enchanting night of the year, culminating, as always on January 6, in delightful mornings filled with surprise and happiness, particularly for the young ones.

With no threat of rain and a dissipating haze, children and their parents will greet them as they rightly deserve. Gaspar, Melchior and Baltasar will be there to collect numerous letters and wishes. Following this, families will place some food and prepared shoes at their front door before heading to bed early – those willing and able – with a note addressed to the elders to avoid the risk of finding coal at dawn. Everything has been arranged, from the routes to security and logistics, all vital for the event to run smoothly, just as it should at this annual gathering. This is the outline of the event on the Island.

Metropolitan Area

Santa Cruz

Approximately 18,000 attendees are anticipated to welcome the Three Wise Men at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López Stadium. The gates will open at 3:30 p.m., with performances commencing at 5 p.m. Noteworthy is the renowned Cantajuego, an engaging live show, as part of an interactive ceremony directed by Paula Álvarez, featuring nearly 600 dancers and participants. The mayor, José Manuel Bermúdez, will present Gaspar, Melchor, and Baltasar with the magical key that unlocks the doors of all chicharrero homes. They will once again use grand illuminated floats to traverse the city starting from 7:00 p.m.

The parade will commence on Belgium Avenue, with more than a thousand characters and extras accompanying the Kings this year. All will gather around 15 floats and their respective processions. Additionally, ten live music groups will perform along the designated path. The Local Police will lead the parade, which will travel from Belgium Avenue to Plaza de la República Dominicana, passing through Avenida Asuncionistas, Ramón y Cajal, Galcerán, and Plaza de Weyler, continuing through Méndez Núñez, El Pilar, Villalba Hervás, and The Navy. The journey concludes at the Plaza de la Candelaria, where Their Majesties will conduct the traditional act of adoration to the Child Jesus at the nativity scene. Following the procession, 35 municipal cleaning service employees and 15 vehicles will ensure the streets are left in pristine condition.

La Laguna

Aguere reinstates the classic route of its Grand Parade, a tradition not followed since 1989. The procession will comprise nine floats and over 500 participants, including children’s characters and groups. This year will also feature a morning walking reception for the Kings – they will be greeted by the mayor, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez, at the town hall at 11:30 a.m. The highlight will be the Grand Parade beginning at 6:00 p.m., which will follow a new path from the arch of lights on Carrera Street to La Concepción tower. Upon the procession’s arrival, the mayor will present the magical keys to the city, allowing the Kings to distribute their gifts. The day’s festivities will kick off earlier at 5:00 p.m. with a worship act in the Sanctuary of Christ. The Grand Parade will depart an hour later from the Plaza del Cristo, travelling through Nava y Grimón, Obispo Rey Redondo, Hermanos Marrero, Herradores, Consistorio, and back to Nava y Grimón. Meanwhile, Tejina celebrates the traditional representation of the Car of the Three Wise Men in the square at 9:30 p.m.

El Rosario

The Parade of La Esperanza returns along its customary route, post-renovation of El Calvario Street, featuring numerous surprises and ending with the distribution of thousands of sweet treats and glasses of chocolate. The procession will set off at 4:00 p.m. from behind the Pcan service station and will traditionally conclude in front of the City Hall, where the mayor of El Rosario, Escolásico Gil, will present the Kings with the key to the municipality. Following this, a musical theatre performance will ensue.

Tegueste

The parade will depart at 7:00 p.m. from El Casino Street, and upon reaching San Marcos Square, attendees can enjoy a Sacramental Auto. The event will conclude at San Marcos parish with an offering to the Child Jesus, performed by the group Lo Divino de Tegueste.

Northern Area of Tenerife

Tacoronte

The Three Wise Men will arrive in Tacoronte from 9:00 a.m. in Plaza de La Caridad, making their way through various centres and neighbourhoods. In the evening, the festive programme will centre around La Estación and its surroundings. The night procession will commence near the municipal library at 7:00 p.m., heading to La Estación square. Among the new features is a dramatization of the magical journey through the municipality’s main shopping artery. The final auto sacramental will be directed by Miguel Suárez.

La Orotava

La Orotava Parade /ED

The La Orotava parade is a notable event in the north, with around 20,000 attendees expected. The arrival of the Three Wise Men is planned for 4:00 p.m. in Plaza de San Juan. The procession will depart at 8:00 p.m. from Mercedes Pinto Avenue, proceeding through Canarias, Calvario, Puente, and Carrera Escultor Estévez, culminating at the Town Hall square for the Adoration of the Child. Notably, the parade route has been renewed, ending at the iconic plaza of the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Peña de Francia, unlike previous years when it concluded at the Martiánez Shopping Centre. The magic begins at 11:00 a.m. with the return to a tradition not celebrated since 2019: the reception and delivery of letters at the Peña de Francia. A special welcome will take place at Castillo de San Felipe at 7:00 p.m., followed by the great Parade through the Portuense municipality towards Quintana Street, concluding with a dazzling pyromusical display at 9:30 p.m. in the church square.

Los Realejos

At 5:00 p.m., the mayor of Realejo, Adolfo González, will present the Magic Key of the municipality at La Cruz Santa, with the Parade setting off at 6:30 p.m. from Los Remedios Avenue in Realejo Alto towards Tigaiga, where the customary depiction of the Adoration of the Three Wise Men will occur.

La Guancha

This year, the theatrical performance signifying the arrival of the Kings will take place on El Castillo Street at 6:30 p.m. – moving from its usual starting point of Montefrío – with a section of the route being conducted in silence, marking innovations for the La Guancha Parade in 2025. The royal messenger will previously visit every corner starting from 11:00 a.m.

Garachico

Melchor, Gaspar, and Baltasar will spread cheer and enthusiasm throughout various parts of the town and Puerto de Garachico from 5:00 p.m. The Parade, one of the oldest in the Canary Islands, organised by AC Cabalrey, will commence at 6:30 p.m. in the Las Cruces neighbourhood, with the Kings then visiting the hermitage of the Virgin of the Kings.

Los Silos

The Three Wise…

Men will arrive at the municipality’s coastline at 4:00 p.m. The mayor, Carmen Luz Baso, will present them with the ceremonial key to the northern town. Following this, they will embark on their customary route through the streets of the town until they reach the rear of the La Luz church, where the living portal will occur.

Southern Area of Tenerife

Candelaria

The Villa Mariana will host a unique Night of Dreams commencing at 5:00 p.m., featuring a format that attracted over 15,000 attendees last year. The festivities will kick off with a dinosaur show on the stage at Plaza de la Patrona de Canarias. At 7:30 p.m., the Three Wise Men will parade from the Town Hall to the square.

Arona

The Three Kings Parade in Los Cristianos will follow a revised schedule and route adhering to safety guidelines. The parade will begin earlier at 18:30, benefiting the Commercial Zone. The procession of floats alongside the royal entourage will commence at the roundabout on Avenida Juan Carlos I (Apartamentos Comodoro), proceeding along this road and Avenida Ámsterdam, ultimately concluding, as per tradition, outside the Los Cristianos Cultural Centre (Plaza del Pescador), where children can hand over their letters.

Adeje

The municipal football ground will open at 4:45 p.m., followed by a children’s show featuring the guardians of the magical key that unlocks every home in Adeje, beginning at 5:45 p.m. Melchor, Gaspar, and Baltasar will arrive by helicopter. From 7:00 p.m., Calle Grande in the centre will host a parade culminating in the Plaza de España, showcasing children’s characters and special contributions from the Adeje volunteer firefighters.

Granadilla

Their Majesties of the East will commence their journey through the main streets of Granadilla in their royal carriages at 5:30 p.m., with over 200 participants expected. This event will again include treats suitable for diabetic children, a designated area for individuals with reduced mobility at the Los Hinojeros pavilion, an inclusion train, and a quiet zone.

San Miguel

The enchanting procession will set off from the Church Square at 6:00 p.m., following the traditional offering to the Child Jesus in the municipality’s main church, concluding at the cultural sports centre. At the end of the parade, Melchor, Gaspar, and Baltasar will collect letters from the children.

Santiago del Teide

The Three Wise Men will arrive in Santiago del Teide via a parade commencing at 6:00 p.m. from Playa de La Arena, passing through Puerto Santiago, and concluding their journey at Plaza Buganvilla de Los Gigantes, where a spectacular projection will adorn the church façade. Prior to this, the royal delegation will visit the towns of Arguayo (Cultural Centre, 4:00 p.m.) and Tamaimo (Social Centre, 5:00 p.m.).

Guía de Isora

The parade will include participation from the local music bands, batucadas, and dance schools. The procession will conclude in the town square, where children can submit their letters.

Public Transport on the Night of Magic

To ease mobility on the most enchanting night of the year, it is recommended to utilise public transport. Titsa will maintain its usual night services on Epiphany Eve, with trams operating every 10 minutes. Passengers wishing to travel by bus can check schedules and lines on the website www.titsa.com, contact them at 922.53.13.00, or follow the company’s social media channels. Tram service information is also available at www.metrotenerife.com and its social networks. Nearly all paths will direct post-parade to the Santa Cruz Trail, situated near La Recova and the Nuestra Señora de África Market, which remains an almost essential meeting point. It will open today until 04:00 a.m.
