Santa Cruz de Tenerife continues its festive programme with an extensive range of events for all ages throughout the initial days of January 2025. From the arrival of the Three Wise Men to musical performances and gift-wrapping kiosks, the capital presents numerous opportunities for family enjoyment.
Flea Markets
In the Alameda del Duque de Santa Elena, the Christmas market featuring 71 stalls will be open all weekend from 10:00 a.m.
Additionally, the Gastromarket located in the Plaza de España will be operational until January 6, showcasing a diverse culinary selection accompanied by daily musical events.
The food and music festival remains a significant attraction. This Saturday, January 4, at 9:30 p.m., the band OBK will conclude the event with a complimentary performance.
Children’s Activities
At the Guimerá Theatre, on Friday at 6:00 p.m., the play “The New Addams Family” will be presented. On Saturday, also at 6:00 p.m., a performance of “The Magical Seamstress” will be held, which revisits classic tales such as “The Smug Little Rat” and “Cinderella”.
In the Southwest District, children’s activities have been scheduled in Plaza Moreiba, Acorán, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., alongside a theatrical show, “Brr, Brr, Witches”, at 5:00 p.m. at the El Sobradillo Community Centre.
On Saturday, January 4, superheroes will be distributing sweets in the streets of Santa Cruz from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This activity will also take place on Sunday, January 5, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Gift Wrapping, Mailboxes, and Parade
Similarly, in the Central-Ifara District, gift-wrapping kiosks will be available on both January 4, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and January 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. These will be located at:

Until January 5, children will have the opportunity to drop off their letters in the Royal Mailboxes set up at:

On Sunday, January 5, La Candelaria Square will welcome the Three Wise Men from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The day will culminate in the traditional Parade, commencing at 5:00 p.m. from Avenida de Belgium, traversing the city’s main thoroughfares, and concluding in Plaza de La Candelaria with the Adoration ceremony.
Final Days of the PIT
The Tenerife Children and Youth Park (PIT) will wrap up its festive activities this weekend with educational workshops, digital games, and events for all age groups.
