The vocalist David Bustamante is set to take the stage in the capital of Tenerife on 11th January at 9:00 p.m., coinciding with the concluding event of the Tenerife Gastro Navidad Market Fest. This concert, which is free of charge, will finally showcase the esteemed artist following the postponement of his previous performance due to a weather advisory issued a few weeks prior.
Yesterday, the Santa Cruz City Council, via the Centro-Ifara district office, informed the public about the rescheduling of this event as part of the activities planned for the celebration of the traditional Christmas festival, which will now also extend its duration until 11th January.
Situated on the esplanade of the Plaza de España, the market opened on 14th December, presenting a diverse programme that features gastronomic workshops, activities for children, and high-calibre musical performances.
The district councillor, Purificación Dávila, emphasised the significance of the Gastro festival, “which is now in its fifth edition and has firmly established itself in the Christmas agenda as one of the hallmark events, attracting thousands of visitors during this festive season, particularly in the city centre.” Alongside the Centro-Ifara district, the Autonomous Festival Organisation and the Development Society are collaborating in the market’s organisation on behalf of the city council.

Furthermore, the Gastro Navidad Market Fest will host an extensive variety of activities this weekend, notably the concert by the Cuban artist Laritza Bacallao, taking place today at 11:15 p.m., with free entry. The performer promises to deliver an electrifying show, reinforcing the festival’s status as one of the most eagerly awaited events of the Christmas season, following the successful concert by Carlos Baute and upcoming performances by OBK on 4th January and Bustamante on the 11th.
