The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, in partnership with the Development Society and the Port Authority, alongside the business association Zona Centro de Santa Cruz, will launch a temporary and complimentary parking facility covering 3,700 square metres on the port esplanade, starting from Saturday, December 28, and running until January 19.

In a statement, the mayor, José Manuel Bermúdez, stated that “the aim is to facilitate parking for both residents and visitors during the Christmas festivities and sales period.”

Moreover, he pointed out that “this area will be accessible 24 hours a day, making it easier for those coming to Santa Cruz to complete their shopping, as well as for those who choose to come to enjoy the dining options and activities scheduled in the city during these dates.”

Additionally, the CEO of the Santa Cruz Development Society, Carmen Pérez, noted that “from 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, access to this parking area will be available in the Auditorium vicinity, which will also support parking during the initial days of the sales event.”

Pérez further clarified that “this parking facility is exclusively for passenger vehicles, and entry is prohibited for buses, personal mobility devices like scooters, or caravans.” She also expressed gratitude for the ongoing support of the Port Authority in establishing this parking solution and the cooperation from the Santa Cruz Central Zone business association.
