The Child-Friendly City of Los Realejos is once again dedicating its efforts to providing all available resources so that during the holiday season of Christmas, children can discover various options to learn and enjoy themselves. Until Thursday, 2 January 2025, its five municipal play centres will be open in the mornings, along with additional workshops in three other locations within the town. This appealing initiative enriches the recreational offerings for children while also facilitating family time and respite.
The Councillor for Social Welfare, Luz Pilar García, has clarified that the municipal play areas—El Jardín de los Colores in La Montaña, the social and cultural centre of Palo Blanco, The Candy Forest in Icod el Alto, Diverlandia in La Cruz Santa, and La Estrella Mágica in La Carrera—will be accessible during this timeframe, excluding holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
In addition, children’s workshops will take place in Plaza Viera y Clavijo in Realejo Alto, Plaza de San Agustín, and Plaza Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe in Toscal Longuera, in the mornings from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and in the afternoons from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on 26, 27, and 30 December, as well as 2 January.
