Manuel de Falla straddled life in both Spain and Argentina… Johann Sebastian Bach, Carlos Gardel, and John Lennon likely require little introduction. The amalgamation of their works, along with other notable names (such as Agustín Lara, Francisco Tárrega, Tchaikovsky…), served as the foundational material for the Puertos de Tenerife Christmas Concert held yesterday. This highly anticipated event celebrated its 30th anniversary in this edition. The performance, along with the eclectic mix of composers, showcased a delightful variety, incorporating festive elements and a distinct touch of the Canary Islands.
