VALVERDE (EL HIERRO), 25 (EUROPA PRESS)
A motorcyclist has sustained serious injuries following a fall while traversing Valverde, in El Hierro, according to the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre of 112 of the Canary Islands.
The incident occurred at 12:09 p.m. this Wednesday on the HI-2 road, at the 2-kilometre mark, as it meanders through the municipality of Valverde. Personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) were dispatched to the scene and upon their arrival confirmed that the individual had several severe injuries, necessitating a transfer via ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de Los Reyes Hospital.
Officers from the Civil Guard also attended the incident and documented the accident.
