As is customary during this season, the Crafts Fair makes its return in Reyes, taking place in the Plaza del Príncipe in Santa Cruz, alongside the Christmas Crafts Market, located in the Plaza del Adelantado in La Laguna. Both events will remain accessible to the public until January 5. The main event in the capital showcases 46 artisans presenting 29 different crafts, while La Laguna hosts 31 artisans featuring 23 distinct craft styles.
The events were announced yesterday by the Minister of Employment, Efraín Medina; the mayor of Santa Cruz, José Manuel Bermúdez; the Councillor for Promotion and Local Development, Domingo Galván; and the manager of the Insular Crafts Company, Ricardo Cologan.
Medina expressed gratitude towards the municipalities of Santa Cruz and La Laguna, along with the entire team that has diligently worked to bring these fairs to fruition. “Tenerife’s craftsmanship stands at a remarkable level, and the award we received last week, where our candidacy secured second place in the National Crafts Awards, serves as a perfect example.”
Moreover, Bermúdez highlighted that “the city council places significant importance on craftsmanship through fairs that have become a genuine reference point, held for 27 years, showcasing products made with passion and dedication.”
The XXVII Crafts Fair in Reyes will occur in the Plaza del Príncipe from January 2 to 5, 2025. It will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. from January 2 to 4. On the 5th, it will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
