SAN SEBASTIÁN DE LA GOMERA, 21 December (EUROPA PRESS) –

The public transportation provider GuaguaGomera has announced the alterations to its schedules during the Christmas and Christmas Eve festivities.

Specifically, adjustments will be made to various routes on December 24, 25, and 31, 2024, as well as on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, to allow the staff to partake in family celebrations, as disclosed by the Cabildo of La Gomera in a statement.

Consequently, on December 24 and 31, Line 1, which connects Valle Gran Rey with San Sebastián, will have its last departure from Valle Gran Rey towards San Sebastián de La Gomera occurring at 6:00 p.m., with the final departure now set for 2:30 p.m.

The last service from San Sebastián to Valle Gran Rey at 9:30 p.m. will also be cancelled, and the final departure will now be at 6:30 p.m.

For Line 2 (Vallehermoso – San Sebastián de La Gomera), the last service departing from Vallehermoso to San Sebastián (6:00 p.m.) will be annulled, with the final departure shifted to 3:30 p.m. Similarly, the last journey from the capital to the northern municipalities at 9:30 p.m. will be omitted, with the last frequency set for 6:30 p.m.

Regarding Line 3, which connects Alajeró with San Sebastián, the last departure from Imada will be at 3:30 p.m., which means the regular 7:30 p.m. service will not operate. The scheduled 9:30 p.m. trip from San Sebastián to Alajeró will also be cancelled, with the last journey at 6:00 p.m.

In relation to Line 8, which links Vallehermoso and Valle Gran Rey, the last service from Vallehermoso at 5:00 p.m. will be suspended, resulting in the last trip from Valle Gran Rey towards Vallehermoso at 6:30 p.m. being cancelled.

Additionally, during these two days, the offices situated at the San Sebastián Bus Station will have reduced hours, closing to the public at 12:00 p.m.

Pertaining to the holidays on December 25 and January 1, Line 1 connecting Valle Gran Rey with San Sebastián will cancel the 8:00 a.m. service from Valle Gran Rey, and consequently, the 10:30 a.m. departure from the capital.

Likewise, the initial departures for Line 2 from Vallehermoso to San Sebastián will be affected, with the 8:00 a.m. services from the north and the 10:30 a.m. services from San Sebastián not operating.

Line 3 (Alajeró – San Sebastián de La Gomera) will remove the 7:00 a.m. service from Imada and, consequently, the 10:30 a.m. service from the capital; while Line 8, linking Vallehermoso and Valle Gran Rey, will not operate the 9:30 a.m. service from Vallehermoso, and therefore, the 11:00 a.m. departure from Valle Gran Rey will also be omitted.

Lastly, Lines 6 and 7, which connect Valle Gran Rey and San Sebastián with the airport, will keep their regular schedules unless flights are cancelled. All other services will continue to operate on their usual timetables.
