Tenerife Tram Extends Service Hours for Christmas Eve Festivities

As is customary every Christmas Eve, Metrotenerife will cease tram operations early, at 8:30 p.m. On this Christmas Eve, which falls on Tuesday the 24th, Line 1 will run with intervals of 6 to 10 minutes, while Line 2 will operate with frequencies of 12 to 20 minutes. The final trams will depart at 8:30 p.m. from both ends of each line, rendering the stops in front of these trams inoperative. Services on the lines will recommence at 08:00 on Wednesday the 25th, Christmas Day, and will adhere to regular schedules and frequencies during the holiday.
